Flashback to a tour to Maranello, organized by Auto Becker of Düsseldorf (back then the sole German Ferrari importer) in 1978. The participants were allowed to do a couple of laps on the Fiorano circuit. Reinhard Schürer, owner of the yellow 365 GTB/4 Daytona s/n 13243, drove his car so hard on the Pista di Fiorano that Enzo Ferrari HIMSELF ran out of his famous house inside the track area and waved the black flag! The Commendatore was afraid that the German visitors might damage or destroy the expensive electronic timing equipment which had been installed shortly before! The 400 in the foreground was probably one of Auto Becker's demonstrators. The white 365 GT4 BB was owned by Walter Lais and was most likely s/n 18687.
