After seeing 985GYT on the street so much, it appeared looking immaculate for sale at @Talacrest in Egham in 1993, where the first photo is taken.
The Ferrari 400 is an extremely handsome GT Ferrari, but it can be hard to capture its sheer elegance in a photo.
985GYT can anyone identify this car? I have enough photos of it!

In one of the Instagram comments it is mentioned "Michael Winner" had one as well. When checking I found this quote in Ferrarichat:
"Nice! You probably know it was originally the HR Owen demonstrator, photographed at Stanford Hall for publicity shots, then subject to a road test by Autocar Magazine. After its time as a demonstrator, it was acquired in October 1978 by the film director Michael Winner."

I'm not sure what specifically was taylor made for him. Looks standard to me. Maybe it was the name tag only :-)
Ferrari 400i GT Taylor Made Ispirazioni 1983. In São Paulo SP.
340hp front 4.8 V12 engine with 5-speed manual transmission.
What sets this apart from any other 400i is its impressive condition and unique history. With only 14,700 original km and exclusive configurations ordered "Taylor Made Ispirazioni" at the factory by its first, and almost only, owner, oil tycoon Howard Keck, make this Ferrari a unique collector's item.

The Ferrari 412 appeared in 1985 and was the last car in the "400" series. In 1989 and after 576 copies sold Ferrari stops production and closes the book of the saga 2 + 2 V12.
Exiting production in 1987 during the lifetime of Enzo FERRARI, our car was to be offered to Alain PROST as a service car if he signed with FERRARI as an F1 driver.
PROST then raced for Mc LAREN and drove a MERCEDES 560 SEC on a daily basis.
FERRARI tried many approaches to secure the services of the French driver and it was not until 1990 that he joined SCUDERIA.
The car had in the meantime been registered in the name of an employee of the factory and, as the gray card shows, Alain PROST recovered the car at the conclusion of a stormy collaboration with SCUDERIA.
Our copy is in very good overall condition.
And another one for sale with an interesting 1st ownership

Turned out, the car belonged once to John McEnroe, see this older blog:

Very beautiful Ferrari delivered by Charles Pozzi in 1982. Exhibited at the Mondial de l'Automobile in 1982 (black, year of the death of Gilles Villeneuve) the car left for the USA, acquired by the famous tennis player, John McEnroe.
I'm interested to get ahold of a copy of this magazine for my archive but I was unable to identify which edtion/year it's printed. Anyone?
Update: Already have obtained a copy on Ebay, thanks Frank!
