This article was posted on FB. Again I was clueless who this person was, so Wikipedia revealed the following:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Brian_Clemens
Judging on the comment "on his sixth Ferrari" I guess he was particular fond on this brand. According to one of the 365/400/412 VIN historians:
"I believe it is #18273 in the photo, and that was his second 365 GT4 (first unknown ID). He later owned #20527 (400GT). #18273 has not been heard of for many years, but #20527 is still around."
Other then this I couldn't find much more related information about him and the 365/400 ownership.
His name was not listed on this page either:

Update 5-11-2106: By surprise I received this additional information:
He had a 330 GT 2+2, 365 GT 2+2, Dino, Daytona Before buying his first 365 GT4
2+2. He covered 40,000 "virtually trouble free miles" and paid £15,000 for it.
He then traded it in for the 365 GT4 2+2 in the photo in the Radio Times
article, before buying the 400 GT.

ReplyDeleteThe first 365 GT4 2+2 that he definitely owned was s/n 18239. Can you share the source that shows that he also owned s/n 18273?
ReplyDeletes/n 18239 was sold new to Clemens and '140 MPH' was its first registration. It is of course possible that this was transferred to another car later on.
The article is from TV Times, 27 October 1977.
