Today this remarkable Facebook posting was made:

English translation:
Dear friends.
This is a special 412...
In the mid-80s it was the official car
available to the Ferrari family.
It was mainly used by Piero Ferrari.
It had a manual transmission and a double clutch to make driving easier for Enzo Ferrari.
It was also used by Montezemolo.
At ByMont we restored its interior leaving its leather completely original.
What do you think? 😅
I was aware that next to the 400i manual that Piero had also a 412 manual as per blog:

According to this story it was a family car, although mostly used by Piero. Apparently there was a clutch modification done so it could also be used by Enzo himself. How is that? And it had been used by Montezemolo as well.
Unfortunately the link provided in that specific blog does no longer work, nor could I retrieve anything via www.archive.org :

On Facebook I found this posting as well but it does not reveal anything anymore (in essence it showed the car for sale with some supporting photo's which were also published on the motorheroes website):

Via the last photo I noticed the license plate name "Asphalt" which lead me to this website:

There is however no mention of the Ferrari ownership in their description and it has a black interior and it's from 1986. So I now suspect he has been using some of their photo's.
VIN 58971 is likely one of the first 412s build somewhere mid 1985 or so. Perhaps acted as a prototype as well. Not sure, just guessing here. I now wonder where this unique 412 will show up next.
Thinking about it, could it be the same as this one, unfortunately I can't see the interior color:
Note the Pininfarina SPA company car had VIN 59145 and was delivered on 29th July 1985. Another very early example. It was a manual version as well.
