Maranello Concessionaires … 1982 Ferrari 400i Auto. Sadly I no longer have a record of the chassis number but it was registered as SAY 400 in about April 1982 and became our demonstrator. I remember this car so well as did many demonstrations in it. I also think as I did in period it was the best colour I’d ever seen on any 400. Customers thought so too and one insisted upon buying after the demo. Painted in Celeste Gainsborough with Dark Blue VM3282 hides. It made such a change to the previous 400 demo cars that were various shades of Blue, Silver and Brown. The photograph was taken outside of the Colonel’s and Shaun Bealey’s favourite luncheon venue, The Bells of Ouzeley in Old Windsor.
