Press photo's : Ferrari 365GT4 2+2 - 400 - 412

I managed to get ahold of a few more press photo's. Apparently they are coming from a Dutch archive: J.F.J. Kuipers

I might had this one already in my archive but it's one take from the same series, see 2nd photo

 This one I had already:

Not sure if I have this one, yes I need to sort out my archive. Cool photo though:

This one I have not seen before:

This is a known one and already in my archive:

I did however got outbid on the following two which I consider a pitty. Especially the one-off 400 by Jankel. If the succesful bidder is reading along, congrats. If you consider to sell them or want to trade against duplicates in my archive please contact me.

Marktplaats : RVS Exhaust Ferrari 400

I just came across this Dutch advert on Marktplaats:

https://www.marktplaats.nl/a/auto-onderdelen/uitlaatsystemen/m1268498833-rvs-sportuitlaat-op-maat-ferrari-400-gt.html

As can be seen they are advertising tailormade stainless steel exhausts and apparently they have done so for a 400. In this case a 400i convertible from Belgium.

Ferrari 400i Convertible by Caruna

Apparently only a design sketch. As far as I'm aware they never build one. I have to admit, I never heard of this company either. But apparently the Dutch Royals had their Benz 380 converted by them. There is still a running website: http://caruna.ch/

Rosso Fioravanti March 22nd - September 2018- Museo dell'Automobile di Torino

From March 22nd until September 2018 we celebrate the Milanese engineer-designer in the exhibition "ROSSO FIORAVANTI", curated by the journalist Giosuè Boetto Cohen and by the director Rodolfo Gaffino Rossi.

A fortunate life dedicated to the automobile which we will retrace together through the drawings, the Ferraris and the prototypes that have made history, from the first interview at Pininfarina to the recent projects of Fioravanti Srl.
We hope to see you there.

See their FB page: https://www.facebook.com/MuseoDellAutomobileTorino/

Or their website: http://www.museoauto.it/website/en/news/768-calendario-delle-visite-guidate-da-leonardo-fioravanti

Ferrari 400i Workshop Manual - Instruzione per le riparazioni - reperaturanleitung - manuel de reperation

I have bought this rare 400i workshop manual for my archive. It's in excellent condition. A digital version is already available in the download folder. Thought it's a nice need to have for a true owner next to your other standard documentation.

Monteverdi Sierra

What!? Yes, Monteverdi Sierra. I know this blog is dedicated to the Ferrari 400. But I will make an one-off exception for this car. And no, there is no direct linkage to this car either. Well, maybe a very little, as Mr Monteverdi was just like Mr Lamborghini not entirely happy about Ferrari and started his own company. That's as close as it gets.

Over the years this blog attracted quite a few readers on a daily basis. I also sense the majority of the  audience has a good and specific taste for aesthethics. Or else an interest for peculiar cars. I do happen to have recently purchased this car with someone else. So I figured to give it a little spotlight and share it with the wider community. Not to show off but to share the passion and hopefully to get in contact with other knowledgeable people regarding this brand and model.

The blog will be in the same fashion as this one. Be warned, the car we bought is in a terrible state and needs much attention. If you are interested you are welcome to follow our journey: monteverdisierra.blogspot.com
