The Goldbergs - When a big purchase goes wrong : Bitter SC

I came across this one on Facebook. Thought it was a funny one to share. Often the Bitter SC is remarked to be a copy of the Ferrari 400. It's remarkable in this video the actors recognize the Bitter as a Ferrari, because rarely people recognize the 400 being a Ferrari ...

At the time there was a lawsuit about the used design but I have never been able to find any information about the lawsuit and it's outcome. The Bitter SC was designed by Michelotti and he also designed the Ferrari Meera (400i) which had lots of Mazda RX7 design cues.

Two Ferrari 400i's chased by the Sussex Police in a Austin Metro

Caught this one on Instagram. It's another true story:

Visiting a friend in Sussex for the weekend circa 1982. He owned an identical 400i to the Marranello Concessionaires car I was driving. Unfortunately we were chased home from the pub by the local constabulary. He let us off with a caution after we let him drive one of the Ferraris. Policing as it should be. Sadly he wouldn’t pose in the picture or let me drive the Metro. 😊 #ferrari #ferrari400i #austinmetro #properpolicemen #uk #sussex

Borrani wire wheels - Ferrari 400 Automatica

I knew the Borrani wire wheels were optional available for the 365GT4 2+2 On their website I see they were also available for the 1st 400 series. I wonder if many were sold. I doubt it. Personally I think they don't look that well on the 400 series. I know Borrani has a very good archive and they are in a position to create them to the original ordered specs.

1987 Ferrari factory tour

Via this Instagram account a few photo's from a factory tour were shared. This photo contained a dark blu Ferrari 412 which is easy to spot in all those red cars.

Ferrari 400i convertible interior renewal

An older restoration from 2015 via this link:

Adding this one just for the records. Curious regarding more details on this convertible.
Judging on the side reflectors this might be done by Straman in the USA. The green carpet
is very unusual to my knowledge. It's supported by the green bands on the chairs and looks
great in my opinion. Not sure if it's factory original.

Via their Facebook page I found more updates on the end result:
