Previously I thought the eldery man was a 400 owner. It appears he's a legendary German Ferrari mechanic, called Egon Welling. The photo was taken at June 10 in 1978 at a Ferrari meeting at the Nürburgring:

I spotted this photo in the Iso Rivolta Facebook group. Apparently it was taken at Bobileff Motorcar in San Diego. And as you can see there are two 400's in the background. So just adding this for the records.
